Hey there! Welcome to my little corner of the wedding world.

I’m Lei-Ahna, but most call me Lei (as in ‘Lee’). And for the record, Lei-Ahna rhymes with ‘banana’. There was a time that I cursed my parents for that name nobody could spell or knew how to pronounce… but, over the years I learned to love its uniqueness. Plus it’s a nice little conversation starter - and I do love a chat.

Obviously I’m a wedding celebrant. And I adore being one. But I’m also a living, breathing, laughing-out-loud human. And it’s my firm belief that it’s the ‘human’ aspects of the celebrant that really matter.

So here’s a few bits about me; I'm the girl who laughs out loud (I said that already, but it’s so accurate it’s worth repeating), embraces life in a double-arm squeeze, and believes in being wonderfully, unapologetically real. Even on your wedding day. My personality is a blend of quirky, caring, and grounded. I like to spread joy, and I'm all about keeping it real.

Home is where the heart is, and mine resides on the Gold Coast, buzzing with love, laughter, music and silliness thanks to my hubby Jake (aka ‘Newelly Wedded’ in the wedding world), our adorable kids Louie and Lola, and our nearly blind bundle of border collie fluff, Famey girl.

Now, let's talk about life’s unexpected twists. Namely, me becoming a marriage celebrant. Never saw it coming! From running a dance school here on the GC, to teaching dance across the globe, to diving headfirst into the whirlwind world of fashion, my life has been quite a ride.

Then, Jake dropped the celebrant idea like a seed in fertile soil. Public speaking was never my jam, but then I realized – this job isn’t about me. Being a celebrant means talking to people, sharing original and truly human stories, and creating a space to celebrate something ridiculously rad. And once I clocked celebrancy as all that, I was absolutely in!
